Thanksgiving Dinner DIY Printable Set

i am a great big lover of thanksgiving! gathering as our immediate family or with the extended "small" utah family of more than 100 (that is just my fathers side).  I love the smells, the laughter and joy of having family together. my favorite meal by far is thanksgiving dinner! YUM! YUM!

it is a special time of year, and a great way to add to this beautiful presentation of a feast, is make your guests feel extra special with adding some personalization. I made this thanksgiving set to add to the sweet spirit and gratitude of this holiday. Have personal name placements , a thank you or tag that can go around a lil gift or napkin and highlight the dessert table with dessert signs.

It is a fun simple beautiful way to tie everything together. So pretty!


If you have some family traditions we can def make things to fit your day, How about "I am thankful for" cards, the menu or program, name placements, cupcake toppers, tags, thank yous, dessert/entree signs or a welcome sign. The ideas are endless.

i am very much looking forward to thanksgiving. I went cold turkey (hehehehe- perfect phrase for this time of year) and have not been drinking soda or eating any treats, it has been a week now and I am doing pretty darn awesome! My free day to eat is thanksgiving day :) so yes I am counting down to eating some pumpkin and apple pie together with some whip cream and carmel sauce and maybe some pecans sprinkled on top!

We have about 2 months before Christmas (crazy to think this year is on its way out-WAY to fast!)  and it is still some what early.....so I thought I would give all you somewhat early shoppers a discount to my store. Christmas Jubilee

Good Morning!! obviously I can not get to bed. All sunday I had a headache, I was in our car heading to grandmas and still had htis headache. So around 7:00pm I took some pills that have some caffine in it. Word to the wise....You shouldn't take these from 5-8 hours before bed time. Hence me being up still, but I am happy to report the headache is gone. Being a mom and all, sometimes  you dont get alot done during the day..so taking advantage if you will. I have been able to get SO much done since max and hubby is asleep. Won't be very cool when I go to sleep and see how much sleep I do get.

happy to announce I have added a few things here-n-there of more Holiday cheer. From more designs for your Family Holiday cards to Already Printed  and presenting my Mister snowman from a birds view Card & Sticker set.

I love these. I did these many years ago. Loved the design and felt this has never been done before from this perspective. So, I got me a fancy expensive lawyer and got them copyrighted. I have made these cards & stickers! So cute, Right?! I love them. They also make some darling cookie decorating and cupcake designs, wood cutouts, and fabric details.

I have been selling them around the holiday season and now listing them for you to enjoy!

many of you ladies I am sure loved the talk from president uchtdorf as much as I did. He has a beautiful way, like a few others, of saying the perfect thing at the perfect time for us ladies. From the moment he mentioned that lil flower I tooned in because it is one of my favorite lil flowers that I have tried to grow, or keep alive in my pot out on my porch. i love the lil aspect and the simple bright sweetness with the forget me not. Now, it has so much more meaning that we should not forget.

Leaves of Color

well you know all the colors of the rainbow..here are my favorite colors of fall..just a sweet pretty  sketch of mine, scanned in and made into a pattern/design to add a lil texture and a lil fall flavor to my designs. What is your favorite color of fall?
wouldn't these be so pretty to print on a canvas or rich heavy linen paper and frame them to add a fall decor to your house??? ohh pretty! They will be up on my etsy. I am trying to figure out how to have a free download button on here and give my readers free downloadable files...wouldnt that be fun..ALL IN FAVOR? say Aye! still on my hunt to figure that out...hopefully soon.. any help  I will take it!

Falling into fall

I do love summer but one of my favorite times of year is the fall. Our pretty mountains that we are surrounded by, the pretty colors that echo fall and ring in the holiday season...and the crisp air and yummy aromas of the food that is in season this time of year. Let's just say pumpkin apple caramel pie/cheesescake. Simply bliss and a party in my mouth :). these are the yummy smells of "home".So with fall on my mind and the many joys it brings here is a lil something somthin to bring in the fall season.

the 411 and some inside info of my process....it is always interesting how artists go about their work. I always start fresh and with hand sketches. I am always fond of drawing, sketching. It makes me happy. Once I get a solid design and I am happy with it, some times after hours or days of refining, I scan it in to my wonderful mac(apple) computer. Bring in the sketch and had either  my pictures of some amazing textures I have found or either found some textures. I love combining many resources. Quick tangent and I promise to get back :)...One of my loves and joys is oil painting on a rich or old beaten down piece of wood, let the wood shape my art. hmmm simply beautiful and a rich vintage feel. Love this. SO back to my process, after I bring in all the resources(hand sketch, textures, patterns, etc) and I apply color and add text and...VOILA!

I almost forgot ...

oops..I almost forgot..i needed to include this below...being 8 and all..a sweet sign for Ireland's room to reflect on another special part of her turning 8. :). We could easily add a sweet picture into this design too. This is a 8x10 to put in a darling frame to use for the baptism event, and also a room decor with a sweet reminder throughout the years. :) Happy Birthday lil miss!

here is the start of some cute halloween tags,- some more ideas to share with friends and family or even teh school classroom. and some sweet and simple girls modern flower birthday theme (or baby shower or wedding)..k, first..how cute is this invite? The girls will be attending a favorite Broadway show, Mary Poppins, so with that in mind..we added some Phrases from the darling show and made it a lil more personalized and reflect the evening, for her guests. I love this.. I hope you do to. A few more things coming down the road later in the afternoon. I hope you enjoy. They all will be listed on etsy soon.

Happy Friday all and even better a labor day of a weekend..DID YOU KNOW Last year I went into labor on labor day..how ironic don't ya think? I think it's funny....I had my darling Max the following day. Can't believe he is almost one in a few days. He does the cutest thing...you know that part on finding nemo in the fish tank, where he is becoming part of the club? and they do that ahhh he wa hee oh ho ho..well max will say this and bounce up and down while he is saying it. It is the cutest thing. He does it as he climbs our stairs too like he his nemo going up the volcano. pretty darn cute! love him.
